Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LandlordnU (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, or interact with our early-access experiences.

LandlordnU is building a trusted rental marketplace for Nigeria. Until full platform launch, our primary data activity is managing waitlist interest, product updates, and related support communications.

We collect information you voluntarily share with us, including:

• Full name
• Email address
• WhatsApp or phone number
• Preferred location or city
• Any other details you choose to share in forms or support messages

We may also collect limited technical data automatically, such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and improve performance.

We use personal information to:

• Add you to the LandlordnU waitlist and confirm your interest
• Send launch updates, product news, and relevant early-access invitations
• Respond to support or privacy-related requests
• Understand demand by city and improve our roadmap
• Protect our services against fraud, abuse, and technical issues

By submitting the waitlist form or otherwise providing your details, you consent to LandlordnU contacting you about launch updates and related product communications.

You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing and waitlist emails at any time by using unsubscribe links in our messages or contacting support. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before you withdrew consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate infrastructure, analytics, email or WhatsApp messaging, or waitlist storage, under appropriate confidentiality and security expectations
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity
• A successor entity if LandlordnU is involved in a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand traffic, and improve site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions.

We keep waitlist and related contact information for as long as needed to manage early access, communicate launch updates, and meet operational or legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your waitlist or contact details
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Withdraw consent for marketing or waitlist communications at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

As LandlordnU evolves into a full rental marketplace, we may introduce features such as verified listings, tenant–landlord messaging, digital contracts, and property management tools.

If those features require collecting additional categories of personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide notice or request consent before processing new data for those purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown on this page. Continued use of the site after updates means you acknowledge the revised policy.

For privacy questions or requests, contact LandlordnU support through the Contact Support channel listed on this site, or use the support details published on our website.

We aim to respond to privacy requests promptly and within any timelines required by applicable law.
